Jackson sat in the middle of Club XES and the room started to scan the room. Jamal and Rory  were throwing money at the dancers. He scanned the room seeing Hunter and Mason approaching him with bottles of champagne. As he looked at his boys coming over he saw Chauncey forcing Simon to touch a stripper’s butt. He laughed as he stood up looking at them. “Man this is popping. I don’t believe in twenty-four hours I’ll be a married man but it’s nice to be able to party one last time without being drunk or high because I can actually say I’m having fun. And did I just say popping man what do I think it’s 2010?” Jackson laughed as he looked at his best friends. “So the new Chronicle came out today and it had all sorts of gossip but man did she highlight Jon’s attack on everyone and that you’re a married man. Hunter I could kick your ass, you married another one of my sisters and this time I’m not invited. No seriously Hunt I’m happy for you and Bliss but Dani and I are pissed that you didn’t invite us.”

Jackson saw Hunter smiling at him. “I understand though, I almost wish Dani and I did that an intimate small wedding. Yesterday she was gung ho for the wedding but after Dimitri, Jon, and all the drama with my dad and mom. Well she’s having second thoughts and I can’t say I blame her but I convinced her at the rehearsal dinner from hell. We deserve this. You know? We deserve to show the world we love each other. I mean that’s all I want for my wife and woman to show everyone how much she means to me and my family. Mason you and Zach are getting serious, any wedding bells?” He asked as Mason poured them champagne. “You know Mase I never thought we’d end up with Fraisers you let alone with a male one.” Jackson teased him as he smiled. “I’m happy you’re living your truth man. Life is too short for us to be anyone else but Mason and the Jackson I am and the Hunter you are. Want to hear some crazy shit? So my father hired Skye Morgan to come back to Atlas Falls to break me and Dani up.”

Mason was happy to head out for an evening of fun he and Zach had decided to separate once at the club so that Zach could talk to his uncle and his cousins and he wanted to spend some time with Jackson. It was honestly nice to just be out and having a good time with his best friends without worrying about if they’d have to haul Jackson out of room with women and drugs, make a call to Jackie to tell them he was high or call an ambulance. He even had seen Simon arrive and knew it wasn’t exactly Simon’s scene but had to laugh when Chauncey all but forced his hand on a woman. “Zach and I are right now just happy and enjoying each other you know? You are right it is good though to be living my truth after all these years and to know that my friends and family support me and my choices no matter what.” Mason said picking up his glass and taking a drink.

“I was just as shocked as you were that Hunter over here tied the damned knot without literally any of us in attendance though I’ll admit I’ve known he was going to propose and marry your sister for a few months. With Dimitri in town I had a talk with them legally to keep Fox here but now he’s going to be in jail and we won’t have to worry about him anymore.” Mason said seeing Hunter look at them both and he shrugged, he knew the plans well before Jackson did with Hunter and Bliss and he was happy about it and happy for them. He laughed as he saw Jamal and Rory eyeing all the girls Hunter and Jackson though didn’t seem super affected by it and he figured that was more their brother’s youth than anything. “For the record I am looking forward to the food and the party. As for you and Dani I think you should owe Simon something I about died when he told me you took her home that night from here, finally after years of telling us you wanted to bed her just to see what it would be like and then yeah I paid him money.” He paused as he took another sip. “You’re dad has always been an asshole when it came to the Fraiser’s not surprised.”

Brooke fluffed her hair down her back as she laid out on the couch. No that was horrible. She quickly got up and ran to the desk and laid on it. No that was slutty. She hopped off the desk and rushed to the bed and jumped inside of it. Shaking her head no she looked at the lingerie that Val sent over. Shimmying out her thong and bra she picked up the one piece zip up corset look. Quickly placing it on and zipping it up she grabbed her lace stockings and black red bottom stilettos. Flaring out her hair and grabbing her pink lipgloss. Blotting her lips she quickly applied mascara and looked around the hotel suite she knew how she wanted to look. Walking to the balcony she opened it and then ran back into the master bedroom. She pulled out a robe with feathers around the wrist and the bottom. Smiling, she looked in the mirror and knew this was what she wanted. After all they’d been through so much and she wanted what Hunter and Bliss have. That was inspirational and she truly felt like she had to do more to make Atticus know she wanted him so much. It was only a few hours until Jackson and Dani’s rehearsal dinner but she wasn’t going to waste those hours. Hearing the keycard slide through the slot she turned around grinning from ear to ear. As she turned around to see Atticus standing there with his mouth hanging open with a bouquet of flowers in his hand.

“I thought that we could enjoy dessert before dinner.” She opened her robe and it showed her unique lingerie as she walked to the table and platters of dessert surrounded them. Grabbing the whipped cream in a can she shook it up spraying a little on her left breast. Taking her right finger she swiped the cream off of herself, licking it seductively. “It’s infused with rum and it’s delicious but I’m sure you can taste it yourself. I missed you so much and you’ve been working so harda as the king regent now and I want to give you something that you won’t forget about what’s at home waiting on you every night.” Brooke purred as she picked up a strawberry and dipped it in the chocolate syrup on the platter. Feeding it to Atticus she seductively licked the side of his lips as she leaned in for a full kiss. “I have champagne, are you thirsty?”

Atticus had just come from the consulate as he dropped his father off to return home to the island his brother was still in the hospital where he belonged and as soon as he was good enough for travel he would be extradited to New York to face rape charges. There as no security detail on him now, no one in Isla Del Cruces to save him from the reality of what he had done, no one but Amanda who his father and promptly fired once he learned she as still representing his brother legally. He had made calls to various allies to make sure they would not harbor his brother if he were to escape the police they had agreed and then he had ran some numbers about the energy solar panels. Isla Del Cruces would simply be the Europe hub for DGI panels in fact if he ran the numbers right they could open a plant in two to three years creating a ton of jobs inside the country and power to Europe. It was a risk and after discussing it with his father one he was going to tell Jackson the crown had agreed too, it was what was best for the country. Once done there he had made his way to Tiffany’s and picked out a stunning diamond pendant for Brooke and some roses on the way back to the hotel suite. She was sacrificing so much for them and he was glad they were moving forward as a couple for them and his soon to be queen. She was sacrificing everything for his reign, her career that she had worked hard for, she would eventually come to live with the royal family on the island and more walking in though he saw in her outfit and lost it, she was so fucking gorgeous.

He placed the flowers down on one of the tables in the room and looked around at the desserts that she had ordered and couldn’t help the grin that came out. He did admire a woman that could rock the leather look and Brooke was by far fucking gorgeous in it and he had to take a breath when she put that cream on herself and then licked it off and he licked his lips at her before walking forward to her hand and the extended strawberry and taking it from her in one bite. Her lips reached for his and engulfed hers with his own as he gripped her hips pulling her too him when she mentioned champagne he pulled back. “I think I could use a drink.” He said looking at her and sitting her on the edge of the table and running his hands up her bare thighs and seeing she was wearing nothing underneath. He looked at her blowing on her heat watching her squirm. “Pour me a glass would you?” He asked before he lowered his head and began to slowly drink her juices as he did so.

Jon looked over at Skye and after them coming to understanding that he deserved to see this kid up close. He deserved for Skye to introduce him to their son. Which was something he never thought he wanted until this very moment. He never wanted something so much that he couldn’t have. This boy was bonded to these people but the animal in Jon was starting to roar. Earlier in the evening Jon saw that raging against Skye would be dumb. She was sensitive, that wasn’t the plan. He truly wanted to hurt her and everyone involved but Skye wouldn’t help him. He laid out his plan to get Miles back. They had to look like a couple in love and if he had to play that with Skye well he would. He knew this was an uphill fight against the Hessington’s but he would fight for his child. He’d move heaven and earth for Miles and didn’t even know him. He never felt so much longing and love all at once as he looked over at Skye. In his life he never wanted to hit a woman so badly but Skye today made him understand how someone could squeeze the life out of someone else in rage. He was enraged and she thought he was using drugs again. His fury and mind was working faster than it ever had. Moments like this his abuse of pills felt like he needed it. He needed to pop a pill to ease his nerves. All decisions right now was to get Miles.

“Was it a hard delivery?” Jon asked, looking at the road almost at the Kincaid mansion. “Were you alright? Tell me about how he came into the world? Skye I know you were on drugs but you know my family is huge on family. Why didn’t you give him to Miranda or my mom? I know you didn’t know but after you did. You knew back then because Lowell right? You said earlier that Lowell thought Miles was his grandson. So you knew back then after the DNA test against Jackson and we could have I don’t know talked to them. I guess I understand your motives but I wish you would have let me know you know. I think that was really selfish and shitty to do to me or Jackson. I can admit Skye I have more history with you but I wasn’t trying to dismiss you I was dismissing that time in my life. I was in a bad place, and what we had represented that. Now I know we at least gave something beautiful in that darkness.”

Skye had packed her things almost like she was in some sort of haze after what they did back at the condo she was pretty sure it wasn’t love or hate for her and it was emotions that she didn’t want to deal with. The way he just rolled off of her as he was done and quietly demanded that she take him to see Miles. She had packed slowly not even sure why she was going with Jon maybe because she’d somehow always felt safe with him as a cop and a good man, a man that she had hurt so deeply. They had barely spoken on the drive over to the Kincaid mansion and instead she looked out the window at the snow on the ground and closed her eyes. What in the hell was she doing? Charles had warned her that if she ever showed her face up around him again she would regret it but even he couldn’t of been that dumb to try and take a shot at Jon after the Kendrick trial. The thought alone sent a slight shiver down her spine she hadn’t told Jon about the day she signed and instead she looked over at him when he asked about the birth. She had been clean then and she knew up till that point there had been concern over Miles’s birth one that Whitney had watched over like a hawk before she had bedded Ryan and begun to hate Whitney they had actually had common ground for a while.

“It was hard he came two months early, the doctors said it was a combination of the drugs. I had an epidural and they told me I could hold him for a few minutes, I didn’t. I was clean the entire time I was pregnant from the moment I found out and I know you don’t believe that but it’s true it was part of my agreement with them. I honored that for him and me too. He spent time in the NICU and I got an apartment close to them and found a steady job.” Skye said quietly looking over at him she had agreed to that part not holding Miles when she signed the adoption agreement. It had killed her but once Miles was out or her body she knew it was over and it wasn’t because Whitney or Ryan were bad people they were good parents. She had been confused at the time and had tried to back out Merci had told her that Jon was out of the VA and doing okay and she thought about showing up and telling both him and Jackson. Charles had put a stop to it and even now she was not going to tell Jon, Charles reach went far beyond the mayor’s office in Atlas Falls and if he wanted he could end her life, Merci and Jon if she told what happened. “Jon we talked about this your family they all hate me. Lowell called me last year told me he knew my secret so I came. He paid me money to try and seduce Jackson and then told me that Miles was not his grandson so that was when I really knew deep down that he was yours.”

ATLAS FALLS DECEMBER 1980

Lowell stepped off of the elevator of the new DGI building. Regan was absolutely correct America was the greatest country on fucking earth. Tapping his foot on the ground he turned to look in the mirror. His face was looking absolutely fucking perfect. Hell he knew that his team that he put together had done amazing. Tomorrow the company would go public  and he had a few things to handle tonight though. Tonight he would show all these people whom he Lowell had deemed betrayed him who the hell he was. Lowell had put them all together for different reasons. Walter was a genius with technology, Harvey’s international connections were strong, Pierre was the best accountant in the world, Forbes mind in business rivaled his own and Gloria was the toughest woman he’d ever seen in business. He trusted her with his life and she had given him the information so it was time to strike before the snakes bit him. Looking down the table he saw Forbes conversing with Harvey, Pierre speaking with Gloria, Walter and Jackie. One of Gloria’s new lawyers was right by her side, Julian O’Sullivan. He walked to his wife and cleared his throat. As he saw everyone sitting down. “How do you all like the new office?” He asked rhetorically knowing everyone was impressed. They went from an office at a stripmall a couple of years ago to this. Walter’s tech had taken them far but his vision was about to take his family to the next level.

“Tonight we go public at twelve o’clock and our annual Christmas party will be bigger than ever before. The powerful of Atlas Falls and the country will be attending to see us the way we see construction, oil, technology, and fucking real estate will make us the rich men in America. The goal is not to conquer one field but all. Make a brand so powerful that everyone knows it’s name DGI is here gentlemen and tonight the city will glow with those letters on top of this very building. But you’re wondering where do each of you sit power wise right? Ten percent. I’ll retain eleven of course, making us the strong hold and giving us the power. Tomorrow we change the game like we’ve been doing since the beginning of the decade. We did it tonight is all about reaping the rewards. Smile I just told you all you’re fucking millionaires.” Raising his hands theatrically and clapping he saw their faces. They were shocked and all elated the pain of tonight would hurt even more. When Louise arrived with a bottle of champagne he smiled. “To us, to DGI.”

Forbes leaned back in his chair staring at Harvey then his eyes shifted to Gloria’s shock and unease. Whatever was going on that bitch had a clear part of this. Ever since he came on board of DGI he saw how Gloria was fighting to be Lowell’s right hand. She truly disliked Walter and he but she was too fake and passive aggressive to ever blatantly open her mouth and say it. Tony was a fool to marry that woman because she was a snake. Jeremiah Beecher was also her lover and he was disgusted with the Delacroix family as a whole. The woman clearly was wearing the pants and Tony was cooking. It was laughable but Lowell wouldn’t stand for her betraying his prized friend Tony. Their friendship was confusing and maybe he was crazy but he felt Gloria was holding something over Lowell’s head. Or she had placed something in his head. Watching Lowell fucking pretending to be king, when all of there connections and power had gotten him to the top. Was a hard pill to swallow but what was worse? Knowing his fucking wife was fucking the pompous fuck. Audrey and he were having problems but Philip had changed that or so he thought. The feelings of inadequacy that he felt was explosive. The jealousy that ate at him, because of all of this should have been his. He should have a wife like Jackie who wouldn’t dare betray him. His lip quivered, fighting back the emotion to not snap Lowell’s neck.

“Toast, to you Lowell the man who has brought all of this together. Turning us from mere men in the world of business into Gods.” Forbes swallowed the champagne with fury. Standing up he walked to Harvey and patted his shoulder. “I do hope you remember our conversation earlier about what’s next. We always should be looking forward, don’t you agree Lowell? What is next after Walter’s tech changes computers and technology as we know it. What’s next Lowell?” Forbes asked curtly but not giving him time to respond. “I guess we will all find out when another one of our ideas has your name on it. I’ll see you all at the party.” Forbes said walking out with the champagne flute in hand as he walked down the hallway of the new DGI he threw it against the wall as he walked to the elevator.
