Scarlett is the youngest daughter of former DGI board member Yuri and Patricia Nichols. She has an older sister Ilsa and a sister Veronica that died on a family boating trip when she was in college. Scarlett was born with a natural lust for the finer things in life and thanks to her father’s seat and commitment to DGI she had it handed to her. She never really fit in with the other kids in her class though her older sister Veronica and her friends let her tag along due to who her father was. Growing up she felt like her only real friends were her mother and Mason Delacroix. She was very pretty and competed in the beauty pageants and liked to party with her other friend Catherine Scotson even though Cat’s overdose was something that woke up her other friends it never seemed to actually affect her she kept on with her partying ways.

Scarlett went to college and majored in Interior Design figuring it would do well on her social calendar she proved that it would be, she has helped her mother design interiors for the most elaborate offices and spaces in the city. She mainly however has lived off her trust funds and the investments that her father left her when he passed. For the past four years she and Mason have put up a good front for their parents in their charade of a relationship she is fully aware that Mason is gay and he is fully aware she is seeing Zach Fraiser. In truth she is tired of the double life that she has been living and is ready to be fully ready to leave Mason though she does have a few tricks up her sleeve. Mainly wanting to get one up on Mason’s father Tony in the worst way possible and she is also tired of being the third wheel to Mason and Simon as well as Zach and Diego. Her mother always taught her to have a plan and this time she is bound and determined to have one no matter what.

SEASON 1

Scarlett started an affair with Zach Fraiser behind his boyfriend at the time Dante Gonzales. The problem was that Scarlett had been tortured by her father sexually for years in turn drawing her into a web of deceit and mania to the point when someone began stalking her she immediately assumed it was Dante. During a rage with him after the hospital fundraiser she revealed to him that she was pregnant with Zach baby and the two had a massive fight leading to him going over the railing on his stairs. She choked the life out of him with her heel and then turned to Mason Delacroix her fake fiance at the time when the stalking continued. It was later revealed to be Philip who was stalking her knowing she killed her sister by accident all those years ago with the police closing in she and her mother took matters into her own hands and in the season finale she escaped the country to Morocco to have her son.
