Zerick has traveled the world from a young age and not much is known about his past. He split his time between Europe and California as a child and was in various boarding schools around the country. Always exceptionally gifted he dreamed for bigger and better things as he got older he wanted power and money even though as a child it was provided to him. He did grow up in Europe in highschool and some of college where he met Greer LeClerq before mysteriously leaving. He did graduate from UCLA with a masters in business finance and then went to work to freelance his own wealth.

He returned to Europe a few years ago where he was reunited with Greer during a business takeover and the two quickly developed a bond again as lovers and friends. Pierre was in many ways a mentor to him in Europe and when he stated he wanted revenge on the Devonshire family Zerick eagerly agreed to the task. He and Greer were married in a lavish ceremony in Paris to begin what he considers to be the biggest take over and con of his career. He of course has his own reasons for wanting Lowell taken down a peg or two, he after all has been a master of deception and lies most of his life. Thanks to the backing of Pierre he has all the tools he needs in order to take DGI it is just a matter how and when.
