Contessa “Tess”Angelique Blisston was born to Fitzgerald and Phoebe Blisston on Christmas. Growing up Fitz spoiled his daughter rotten but it was Phoebe who was hard on Tess. She was never pretty enough, always downplayed any achievement and constantly was mentally abusive. Growing up Tess felt as if she was never good enough thus pushing her to be above and beyond anyone else. She was often compared to her older cousin Jane Blisston which burned her to no end. It wasn’t until she was fourteen her life changed. Tess transformed from the awkward girl into a swan. She was a swan and it became clear to everyone Tess was a world class beauty. Phoebe however still wasn’t pleased now that her daughter was even more beautiful than her. This started a lifelong feud between mother and daughter with Fitz stuck in the middle. Living in Atlas Falls Tess would go onto develop a major crush on Lowell Devonshire. At the same time she would befriend Kathleen Davis just as her sister Jackie started her courtship with Lowell. She’d watch Jackie going on lavish dates and wish it was her. By the time she and Kathleen graduated, Tess enrolled in AFU and joined DGI. As Lowell’s first secretary she slowly started to seduce him. It was a long road but one night the tension reached and boiling point and they made love.

Tess would go onto be his mistress until her graduation from college with a degree in art history. It would be when her best friend Kathleen had a mental break from being raped and Jackie finding out about the affair that would push from America. Phoebe ashamed of Tess action gave her a lump sum and told her never to come back to Atlas Falls. Fitz had no choice but to go along with her or lose his wife. Tess and Lowell’s affair wasn’t over at all though. He traveled to Paris and London the two homes he bought for her. They carried on a secret relationship that led to Tess giving birth to Bliss named after her father’s last name. Bliss was her joy and Tess loved when they spent time as a family. At the age of nine Bliss would be sent away to boarding school and Tess would move to Spain. This was due to Lowell breaking up with her. Heartbroken Tess would go on a marriage spree as she calls it. Marrying three different men in the span of ten years. Each one meant something to her but none have given her what Lowell did. Now after her father’s death and mother’s Alzheimer’s she has been given a chance to takeover their spot on the board of directors at DGI.
