Skye was born to Adam and Penelope Morgan, Adam was an engineer for DGI and her mother was a homemaker. For many years Skye had the ideal life at home with her parents when she was in grade school however tragedy struck when her parents were killed in a car accident on the way home from the annual charity ball for DGI. Parentless she was heartbroken by their loss and the court sent her to live with her grandmother in New Jersey by the time Skye was 13 she had run away at least 4 times. Eventually Sophie gave her back to the authorities and Skye was placed in foster care. Skye got good grades on high school and she and Meri Dubois became fast friends in foster care. Eventually she set her eyes on the party scene as a way to deal with the loss. She and Jackson hooked up at various parties on and off in college and he eventually got her to do her first line of coke.

By the time their affair had exploded while he was with Esme she was hooked on him and coke. She could tell Jackson wanted off the drugs and Chauncey came to her assuring her the only way to keep him was to keep the drugs involved. Eventually she also began an affair with Jon Harrison at the same time, Jon tried to help her and she realized she cared about him more than Jackson. The problem was her addiction to Jackson and the drugs. Being tired of Jackson playing with her over Esme she exposed that she was sleeping with Jon to hurt Jackson leading the men into a massive fight. Sophie came to her granddaughters side and shipped her off to friends in Pittsburgh and rehab though she lied to both Jon and Jackson telling them she was leaving to pursue her acting career. Now almost a year and a half clean she has returned and she has no problems trying to reclaim the two men she lost.
