Lex is the eldest born son of Charles and his late wife Ava born with a silver spoon in his life he quickly became his mother’s favorite child a bond that never ceased until her death. Lex has always been smart and has always had a sense of being cunning as well. Something that in his later years suited him well when he entered law school. Growing up as the son of a senator and later Governor he is and has always been used to the spotlight politically. He opted to do his undergraduate studies at Carnegie Mellon and also attended law school there. He was in his third and final year of law school when his father ran for Governor and he acted on long time feelings he had for his sister’s best friend Dani. His mother and father approved of the match and they were quickly the couple to watch in Pittsburgh high society; their relationship lasted almost three years.

Two years into the relationship his mother got very sick and on her deathbed she told him to make it right with Dani feeling the pressure to marry he proposed. His life quickly spiraled out of control with that as he began to do more and more work for the conglomerate and his father. He started a side relationship with an intern on his father’s campaign trail, Maggie Thorpe. He got tangled in with Maggie and the more dangerous side of his father’s connections to the point that he pushed Dani away emotionally and physically. By the time Dani caught them it was too late and he was publicly shamed in high society and by his father and she left him. Instead of dealing with his mother’s death and what he did he simply resorted to new lovers and doing even more shady things to help his family, one being blackmailing Skye into signing over custody of her son to his sister and brother in law and then bedding her.
