Danielle “Dani” Fraiser is the only living daughter of Walter and Lauren Fraiser, after her younger sister Victoria was killed in a tragic car accident. She grew up with two parents in a stable home, her father was always distant and cold to her. Leading to her in turn trying to appease him whenever and however she could with grades, music lessons anything to have a bit of his attention. Her mother encouraged her with music, seeing how it was one of many things that she noticed made her daughter happy. By the time high school hit, her father discovered her longtime crush on Jackson and in a fit of rage forbade anything from ever happening between them. Instead Dani made it a point to get better grades than her brother, to finally make her father proud and in an act of rebellion with her best friend Miranda Harrison began dating boys she thought were even worse than Jackson though none of them were serious. Her father in turn constantly told he she was not good enough, that she always was disappointing him leading to her insecurities romantically. By the time she graduated high school she was relieved to be out of her father’s house and took a scholarship offer to Carnagie Mellon.

In college she met Trent Sinclair and the two began a relationship that would last about a year. When she found out that he had been seeing her in a scoring system in his fraternity house she called off the relationship. She reconnected with her other friend Whitney Hessington and spent her college days in and out of various relationships. She horrified her father by not attending law school instead she went to business school. Charles Hessington offered her a job midway through on his election campaign where she and Lex worked together. Charles and her father encouraged her to start a relationship with Lex and she did, after college she went to work for Charles full time as his publicist and campaign manager. Two years into her relationship with Lex he proposed and they began planning a wedding. At Ryan and Whitney’s wedding she walked in on Lex with one of Charles’s interns Maggie Thorpe, learning the affair had been going on for over a year she was devastated and called off the engagement. She quit her job in Pittsburgh and came home, taking a job at DGI and telling her father he was no longer in control of her choices and in turn Walter disowned her.

Season 1

Dani was the head of public relations at DGI and went out with Talia and Simon for drinks at Club XES not her style and was hit on by a barely legal boy, turning him down she was shocked when Jackson took a seat next to her and they flirted before deciding she could have a one night stand with her long crush with no strings attached. The two went back and had sex and then agreed the following morning to begin a friends with benefits relationship. As time went on Dani began to feel guilty about lying to everyone about their relationship and confronted him about it after a mistake dinner with Jon Harrison. She walked away when Jackson rejected her and then at the hospital fundraiser she confessed she was in love with him and Lex had fucked her up romantically and he confessed he was in love with her too. The two finally entered into a BDSM relationship that night. When he relapsed after he told her he would get help and seek counseling which he did, after learning that after Lex had harassed her while she was drunk he put him in his place he proposed and she reluctantly agreed. In Egypt she discovered she was pregnant and decided to keep the truth from him until she was ready. Greer outed her medical records and the two broke up with her kicking him out. Weeks later they agreed to try again as feelings were still there and she confessed that night about the non viable pregnancy with Lex and how the affair with Maggie affected her. Jackson proposed and the two made love. When she was kidnapped and held hostage by Kendrick she was horrified that Jackson hid drugs in the house. They learned they were having twins and he confessed he used to her the night she was kidnapped. Torn on her love for him versus his addiction she promised him she’d be there when he got back from rehab waiting for him.

Season 2

Dani worked over the summer and took over DGI Energy while Jackson was in rehab as his emergency contact to the shock of his family but not to her, she kept the solar panels running and supported him throughout rehab. When he returned sober and clean she was overjoyed and showed him that they were having a boy and a girl and they began to remodel a lake house they had decided on. Her pregnancy this time went really smoothly and they officially became engaged planning to marry after the twins were born. She punched Greer when her scheme was exposed and in turn Greer had her arrested at her baby shower, where she vowed to Jackson and her cousin Brock that she would never accept Greer into her life ever. The twins were born 7 weeks early alive and healthy, Donovan and Jolene afterwards Jackson wanted to move up the wedding to New Years and she agreed. She had to face the abandonment she felt from her father head on with Jackson’s support. She also learned about Miles paternity and kept it a secret for her best friend Whitney. When Tamara was raped she asked Jon to take care of Dimitri as well. Nearing the wedding she confessed both of her reasons to Jackson who assured her they would still get married but they had to start trusting each other completely. She supported his decision to stand by Jackie after everything with Lowell. They were married on New Years without an objection in the house and she assured him he would get that CEO position even telling Lowell himself off. She was furious when Jackson jumped in front of a gun risking his life and then the two honeymooned in Isla Del Cruces agreeing when returning to hire Dru Price as their nanny.
