Cassandra “Cassie” Montgomery is the only daughter of former DGI executive Forbes Montgomery and his wife Audrey. Cassie grew up in the lap of luxury since her father was at one point one of DGI’s most prominent and well known executives, she never had to want for anything. She has always been a bit spoiled and she is close to her only brother Philip though Philip is a bit older she has always leaned on her brother. She is known for being beautiful at a young age attended fashion shows and was in beauty pageants something that drew she and her mother close. Her mother also instilled a sense of pride in her to think for herself to never be second or weak to a man something both her parents admire about her. Her mother died halfway through high school from a suicide. She has never forgiven her father for the heartbreak he caused her mother and when Audrey died she leaned on her brother. In high school it caused her to clash heavily with Max Devonshire and the two often feuded over men, teachers and friends, she was known as a bitch but could always hold her own against Max and her group of friends. The feud was very mild until she learned that Max had seduced Philip one night at a weekend party, Cassie retaliated in the worst way possible telling Lowell and the high school principal about Max’s affair with then teacher Carter Black.

She smiled in glee at graduation when Max was humiliated after the Carter affair their feud continued to college where they both attended locally Cassie decided to go for a business degree in college and spent most of her time in between lovers and with her sorority house. She and Thor Luciano have been on and off since high school and have become close lovers and best friends over the years even though she knows about his mafia connections. When Philip came up with the idea for the club Cassie saw it as a business investment and agreed to go in with him on it with her trust fund as long as her brother made her a full partner. Philip agreed and they started Club XES that while it struggled for the first few years it is now a local hotspot in town known for it’s exotic drinks, strippers and private rooms that allow for a more private showing should patrons want to indulge in their more naughty side. It has housed congressmen, senators, children of both, the rich and the famous on occasion the one thing Cassie values is her place in town as one of the most successful business women. When she discovered that Max and Philip had started an affair last year she was not above selling out Max to Brenda and will do anything to assure that affair is short lived.

Season 1

Cassie was content to suck it up and work as a partner with her brother and Ronan Madden at Club XES, she and Thor started off the season as they always did partners in the bedroom and outside of it. However when he started to go after his own brother Ronan she feared for his safety and her own begging him to stop while flirting with Jon Harrison. When Thor didn’t show up for her mother’s charity gala she put the breaks on breaking up their relationship and focusing on work. Jon kept popping up left and right at the club and she felt herself drawn to the policeman so much so that she was willing to walk away from the club. Which she did when Kendrick took over for her own safety handing over her shares to her brother. Unsure of her feelings for Jon or Thor she called an end to her relationship with Jon after sleeping with him one night and then was jealous that he began to see his ex Skye again. She went to Thor and the two conspired to keep Jon and Skye apart. When Jon shot Kendrick she was there to support him and they reconciled agreeing to try and then she went to the hospital when Philip was shot. Once there she discovered her father had returned to town and vowed revenge on Max and the Devonshire’s going to work for MontCorp.

Season 2

Cassie continued to be with Jon through his trial with Kendrick and afterwards and began to form a friendship with Jon’s sister Miranda until a mysterious package arrived with a picture of Miles Hessington inside of it. She asked her father who made her look at the bigger picture and realizing that Miles was in fact Jon’s son with Skye Morgan she became enraged, vowing to keep them apart. Jon would propose and she would accept knowing full well that Miles was his son, unknown to her that Philip knew the truth as well her world imploded on Christmas Eve when Jon figured it out furious with her and everyone around her. He called off the relationship and she pointed out he never really loved the real her, just the ideal of her. The realization made her realize the only man that really understood her and loved her had always been Thor who had been shot in a shoot out. Once she arrived at the hospital she realized that Skye and learned the truth about their plan to break up Jon and Skye and she had ended things with him. She handed him an ugly scarf something she had been doing forever and asked for a second chance for them. Thor accepted telling her that he put blinders on with Skye because she had hurt him. They attended the wedding together and while she doesn’t approve of his relationship with Hunter Kincaid unless it benefits MontCorp she encouraged him to get out of the business for good.
