Claus and Michelle had Brenda on Christmas Eve and she forever was a gift to the family. They loved her deeply and her older brother Nicholas doted on her. Brenda grew up across town in the outskirts on a back country road dirt poor her biggest rival was always Jackie Davis when it came to status in town. The women for years have never truly gotten along and she never really cared for Jackie. In her youth it was her jealousy but as they got older the women hurt each other much more deeper. In high school she had a romance with Walter Fraiser. It lead to her heart being broken when he choose Lauren Cummings. Brenda would forever carry a grudge against Lauren for taking Walter. Sneakily she stole Jackie’s boyfriend Steven Kincaid at the time right before college.

In college Brenda majored in political science and became the rock behind Steven. His family name had the clout and she had the brains. She helped Steven mold an image and Steven told her he couldn’t imagine his life without her. They were engaged and the Kincaid’s put on the biggest wedding Atlas Falls had seen at that time. At the lavish event they announced they were pregnant. Anderson was born and their marriage hit a snag. Steven was running for mayor and she caught him having an affair. This was the first time Brenda would be heartbroken but not the last. Throughout the years through having Hunter and Brooke, she’d have to deal with her husband scandalous actions. Brenda is now a very high functioning alcoholic and bitter her life isn’t filled with the love she so very desperately desires.

Season 1

Brenda’s year began with a party held for Steven Kincaid, his biggest one yet thrown by his wife Brenda. Only by the end of the pilot episode it was revealed that he had been murdered in the Kincaid mansion with a bullet to the head along with Carla Luciano naked inside with him. Brenda for the first time in years would feel liberation from Steven’s death and moved on from him as quick as he passed. Going as far as to run for mayor in a run off with Walter Fraiser her former lover and flame. At the debate she even went as far as to reveal that she had gotten pregnant with him in between her pregnancies with Hunter and Brooke, shocking everyone in town. Walter fired back and she lost, seeing Brooke getting so close to Ronan she took matters into her own hands. Having Ronan arrested at the ski resort after he was shot, when that didn’t work and he was in jail she took it a step father reaching out to Kendrick. Meeting Kendrick in the shadiest bar she could find she offered him money and power if he went and put a hit on Roan in prison, Kendrick agreed only for Ronan to survive. She also started a brief romance with Gideon Morrison and was heartbroken when he died, turning to the bottle heavily she stormed to the Pub and revealed that the pregnancy was viable all those years ago. Horrifying Walter that she gave their daughter way to a nunnery with Lowell’s help, Lauren overheard the entire conversation and was crushed. She finally felt she had won watching Walter and Lauren’s marriage crumble only she was shocked with Walter turned on her too. She returned home and was thrilled when Atticus showed back up to fight for Brooke.

Season 2

Brenda was able to sweet talk Walter into forgiveness swearing that giving up their daughter was the only way she knew how to save them all heartache and pain and even hired a private investigator to find her. She and Walter were both together with the investigator told them that their daughter had died in a tragic car accident, Walter was heartbroken it reminded him of Victoria’s death. The became a couple despite objections from their children. While out with Brooke Dani confronted Brenda about her child with Walter and Brenda vowed revenge on Dani for spreading the information to an unsuspecting Brooke. She called Charles Hessington, convincing him to move to Atlas Falls with all his children and by the aging Hotel La Gordia and turn it into one of his famous Crestwood hotels. She was drinking so much again that when Charles handed her the paperwork she foolishly signed unknown to her leaving him the sole owner and leaving him part of the Kincaid fortune as well. he was less than thrilled when Hunter married Bliss but let him make his choices in her words with another Devonshrie bitch. She attended Jackson and Dani’s wedding with Walter on her arm and ran into Druscilla Price and the women took an intense dislike to one another. While at the wedding her former husbands ugly past was revealed when Philip showed a picture of Steven along with her boys at a KKK rally. She lost Walter a second time over the scandal and vowed revenge on Philip and Charles for betraying her that year.
