Braden grew up in Atlas Falls the son of Walter and Lauren Fraiser raised locally he had a passion for sports at a young age. He also grew up with a large family. He got good grades in school and he always remembered his father being there for him. He never had to worry about his father not being there or not showing up. He also became a protector to his little sister when he noticed early on his father was colder to her, harder on her. In high school he dated a few girls on and off but his serious relationships happened in college he was and is good friends with Devin Thompson and Jon Harrison. He went to Atlas Falls University and began a romance with Selina Delacroix much to the dismay of his father for her being Tony’s daughter and Lowell’s goddaughter. They were lovers and friends until the feuding between his father and Lowell put a strain on their relationship and they agreed to take a break. During that break he met Tamara Wright and the two began a sexual relationship, which he attempted to call off to focus in on school again and reconcile with Selina. He was floored when Tamara revealed she was pregnant in college. He went to his parents for help and they agreed to help him with the baby.
He told Selina about Tamara and the baby, Selina was devastated and they went their separate ways romantically, Tamara went on to have Dylan. He tried to make his relationship with Tamara work only to be horrified when he learned of her drug addiction when he caught her sniffing coke when he was working in the DA’s office after graduation. He filed for custody of their son and he and Selina again started their relationship, Tamara went to rehab and he finally proposed to her. He and Selina however ran into more problems when she took her father’s board seat at DGI and resumed a relationship with Chauncey and his daughter Madeline again. He became a vital member of former City Attorney Liam Gates team. When his predecessor retired he told Braden to run. Selina began spending more and more time at DGI with Chauncey and Madeline and the wedding was called off, he decided to run. After an intense election year he was named Assistant District Attorney and is now just getting back involved in possibly dating again though he still hold a candle for Selina.
Season 1
Braden continued to chase after Selina most of the first half of the season begging her to chose happiness with him over marrying Chauncey, she refused. Pressured from various people including his sister he began to date Talia Rose. Eventually he and Talia went on a double date with his ex Tamara and his close friend David, it was disastrous as he began to doubt in Tamara’s sobriety and saw how uncomfortable it was for Talia. When he showed up with Talia to Chauncey’s wedding to Selina he did the most impulsive thing since college when Selina asked him to marry her instead. He instantly agreed hurting Talia in the process and shocking every guest in attendance. His marriage to Selina was whirlwind that was further complicated when Jamal was arrested for being a part of Kendrick and Ronan’s organization as DA he was the one that issued the arrest warrant. Selina was angry at him and they drifted further and further apart. He moved out and discovered Tamara had overdosed rushing her with Dylan to the hospital. When Dani was kidnapped and Kendrick shot they hit a breaking point Selina left town and Atlas Fall including him and Dylan behind.
Season 2
Braden divorced Selina while shew as overseas in Isla Del Cruces without even a contest turning him bitter towards her and angry that she had left him and Dylan. He also began to grow close to Tamara again while in recovery to the point that they decided to give their relationship another shot now that she was clean and sober. Over the season he fell back in love with her and even defended Selina when he found out that Dimitri had assaulted her at an opera house in New York. He and Tamara made love when they went out clubbing to rekindle their romance. He proposed afterwards much to her delight and his entire family’s along with their son who desperately wanted them back together. While Tamara was gone on a trip for MontCorp he desperately tried to get a hold of her only to drive through he night in snow to discover that she had been raped, along with learning that Dimitri had been stalking her and watching their house. They were both floored and elated to learn their encounter that night at the club resulted in Tamara being pregnant again. He asked his sister to call Jon to murder Dimitri for him because as DA he couldn’t cross those lines, Dani agreed. His family was horrified when they learned of his actions at his sisters rehearsal dinner. He reassured Tamara even after she shot Dimitri in revenge putting him in the hospital he wouldn’t leave her and stuck by his word even leading the charge to look for her when she went missing at his sister’s wedding.
