Atticus is the second born son to Dimitri Kavanagh the Second and his wife Anne-Marie he was born years after his brother in what many on the island called a season of peace. As a winter baby he was often sick due to illness and a weaker immune system that didn’t stop him from enjoying life however and he grew out of it by the time he was ready to head to primary school. He thrived at academics and was on his way to secondary school two years early and for the most part was a well rounded good child. A polar opposite of his brother who was often cruel well beyond his years. He still loved his brother and the two were very close growing up when Dimitri left for college abroad he however grew apart from him and they would never be close again.He went on to college locally at the local university something that was a first for his family and the crown as most went on to college abroad or skipped it all together.
He graduated and spent the summer in Rome where he bumped into Brooke Kincaid at fashion week and was immediately smitten with Brooke Kincaid and the two started a stunning worldwide romance the girl from America and and international prince six months later he proposed and she accepted. Their romance was stemming right at the time that his sister in law disappeared from the island and his brother and then he went out to one of the local clubs with Dimitri, wanting to confront him about the rumors of the abuse of Bliss. He was shocked when Dimitri confirmed them and he ran into Belle Archibald who seduced him that night in the club. Belle eventually told Brooke about their affair and Brooke called off their engagement. He let Brooke go but never really got over her and when he came to Atlas Falls to help Bliss win back Fox he had ulterior motives to win back the girl of his dreams.
Season 1
Atticus arrived back in Atlas Falls after a call from Brenda Kincaid at the end of the season letting Brooke know that he was back to win her love and affection back.
Season 2
Atticus was true to his word on wanting Brooke back and worked tirelessly over the summer to at least win her heart and her soul back even though he knew that she still had feelings for mobster Ronan Madden. He re-proposed over their whirlwind summer romance and was thrilled when she accepted. He was tempted by the woman that he had ruined his relationship with Brooke, Belle Archibald-Devonshire when she arrived in town he was steadfast in his commit to rebuild his relationship with Brooke. When his brother arrived and began to terrorize Bliss he tried to convince Dimitri to stop even going as far as to shield Brooke from one of his rages where he saw a side to his brother that he despised and hated. Eventually things came to a head with Brooke and Ronan where he told her to chose him or the mobster queen or mob moll, he was thrilled when Brooke choose him. He also agreed to a major energy deal with Jackson Devonshire in a move that assuring Brooke and the residents of Atlas Falls that Dimitri was a stain on his family legacy and the crown. The action lead to his father disinheriting his father in succession and naming him King Regent. After his brother escaped police custody he vowed to do whatever it took in order to wide Dimitri and his stain from Atlas Falls including protecting Bliss and his nephew Fox.
