The final member of Brooke, Rory, and Jamal childhood. Aspen is the daughter of Blythe Crane-Sinclair a board member at DGI and Randall Sinclair a novelist and professor. Aspen was painfully awkward and has always had a huge crush on Rory growing up. Aspen also was one of the groups most bright scholars and often was at the top of the class. She never broke out of her shell until the summer after graduation when started a transformation. Aspen became determined to lose her weight and get her look together. Arriving at Harvard she continued on the path to become glamorous as Brooke and Val. She has a intense dislike of Val because she laughed at her when they first met. By her second year she returned to Harvard as a new woman and was on her way into becoming the most popular girl on campus. She dated Seth Ewing a legacy jock who would plant his coke on Aspen. Aspen took the fall in Harvard and was kicked out. Now returning to Atlas Falls Aspen hopes to rekindle her frosty relationship with her mother. Also Aspen is finally not scared to act on her age old crush on Rory. She’s looking to finally get him in her clutches.
Season 2
Aspen arrived back in town at the beginning of the season and set her eyes upon longtime friend Rory Devonshire. Of course she pretended to just be his friend with benefits but in reality she was using him to hide from her overbearing parents. She had left Harvard in California and eventually confessed to Rory that she had gotten involved with a boy that did drugs and was expelled. She re-enrolled in college at Atlas Falls University and Rory agreed to be her fake boyfriend to appease her parents. The relationship continued to blossom and the two eventually became real. Yasmine started to look at Rory again and she reached out to Khalil Watkins for help in keeping the former lovers apart, Max overheard as well and agreed that Apsen was the girl for her brother. Her plot had one hiccup however when she saw Rory and Yasmine making love and she had a one night stand with Lex Hessington. A few weeks later she learned she was pregnant using that tool to her advantage she announced her pregnancy at Jackson and Dani’s wedding much to the surprise of an unsuspecting Rory who had no choice but to stay by her side.
