Selina is the first born and beloved daughter of Tony Delacroix. His only daughter she is by far the child he has spoiled the most. The bond between father and daughter is deep due to her mother dying in her youth. Selina remembered her brother birth vividly and it was around this time her mother became deathly ill. After a five year battle Gloria succumbed to the cancer. To this days Selina cries when she rides past Atlas Falls cemetery. Growing up as a Delacroix, Selina was spoiled by her father and became very protective of her daddy. When Ophelia Cameron came into her life Selina became instantly bitter and jealous of the woman. Not only that it hadn’t been a year since her mother’s death she would go onto have a very contentious relationship with Ophelia.

In high school, Selina became a terror to Ophelia a feud that would last until this very day. She however was beloved by the town as a golden girl and very popular. Her romance with Chauncey Devonshire had everyone enthralled in them. It wasn’t until after prom her life would change forever. For years she shared a friendship with Braden but the night of prom he kissed her and she knew he was the love of her life. She left Chauncey and choose to go to Atlas Falls University. Lowell and Tony put pressure on Selina to stop seeing Braden. They would break-up and while on break Braden slept with Tamara Wright. The New Yorker got pregnant with Dylan and she was heartbroken. Leaving AFU that semester she transferred to Berkeley college in New York. After graduation she returned to Atlas Falls, Selina reunited with Braden only for her to break his heart all over. You see when Selina and Chauncey met again he had a daughter, Madeline and she fell in love. Another girl with no mother and she would eventually cheat on Braden with Chauncey. Now only a few years later Selina is miserable with Chauncey, and still madly in love with Braden.

Season 1

Selina started the year off with Chauncey unhappy in their relationship with she discovered another one of his affairs a nurse at the hosptial this time and began to question why she was with him. She loved him and loved his daughter Madeline, but she was unhappy. She and long time love Braden ran into each other and he kept convincing her that being with Chauncey was the worst thing to happen to her. At her wedding to Chauncey she shocked everyone when she told him she’d rather die than marry him, while exposing his affairs and claiming that he had a fling with the newly arrived Greer Westwood which was true and instead asked Braden to marry her instead. Everyone was shocked when Braden agreed and the two married on the Devonshire dime nonetheless. She and Braden began their marriage and it started good only for everything to come to a heated head when Jamal’s legal issues spiraled them and Kendrick’s shooting. Braden left and Selina was dealt another blow when Chauncey had his father fire her and forge her name on documents for Isla Del Cruces and forbidding her from Madeline. Furious she left town heartbroken and needed time and distance from all the devastation.

Season 2

After divorcing Braden Fraiser Selina Delacroix returned with Dimitri on her arm to Atlas Falls gunning for DGI who fired her at the end of season one. Selina didn’t believe Bliss warnings at first about Dimitri even though Bliss tried often to tell her about the abuse she suffered. It was on a business trip where Selina would get a taste of Dimitri nastiness and he would sexually assault her but not rape her. With the help and support of her family who were furious that she accepted and blamed the abuse on herself she finally broke free of Dimitri at Thanksgiving. Her family and her ex gave him a through beat down outside the Delacroix estate and though she feared his retaliation and it hurt any case she had against him she was finally free. This also allowed her to start to move on with Elliot Duvall who supported her and stood by her as a friend until she wanted to be more. At Jackson and Dani’s wedding Dimitri broke into the Devonshire mansion knocking Dimitri out and kidnapping Selina and the rest of his victims. Instead they fought back and after Bliss shot her abuser dead all the women with help from Jackie, Simon and Ivan dumped the body into the lake never to speak about it to anyone.
