Dimitri is the eldest son of King Dimitri Kavanaugh and his wife Queen Anne-Marie he was born on the Isla Del Cruces during a summer thunderstorm that many locals said was cursed due to the damage it brought with it. Rumor had it that the earth shook and waves his the shore the moment he came out. Rumors that the king and queen have joked about for years. Perhaps there was something to those rumors as growing up he was always trouble compared to his more mild mannered brother and sister. He was always getting into trouble at the palace and gave his tutors more than their fair share of headaches over the years, he also has always had a terrible temper that seemed to flare on and off other years. Being raised in the public eye on and off over the years however, he has learned to mask it well and to many he is seen as ideal and perfect. He was sent to boarding school for his high school years and attended Oxford for college getting his degree in business, to help with matters of the crown and the islands needs.

He has always been a bit of a ladies man both with affairs in and out of the papers he was even caught in bed once with his own father’s mistress shaming the royal house for a time. He met Bliss Devonshire however while she was on vacation for the summer with her mother and under pressure from his parents for the perfect princess bride he swept her off of her feet. The two married at the end of the summer after a whirlwind romance in a lavish royal ceremony where only her mother was in attendance. Over the years however when she began to appear less and less in public he feared his dirty secret would get out. The only time that Bliss was a full member of society on the island was when she was pregnant with their child Fox she appeared regularly for family functions and affair. After Fox was born she again disappeared and the royal family always had an excuse for her absence.

Season 1

Dimitri was mentioned on and off pointing out that he had diplomatic immunity and Bliss referred to him as her ex husband. Eventually she revealed to her family that Dimitri would frequently get abusive with her throughout their marriage beating and raping her. She also finally confessed the real reason she came home was to ask for Lowell’s help to fight to get Fox her son away from him.

Season 2

Dimitri arrived back in town Fox in tow along with his new lady he was planning on making his next victim in Selina Delacroix, he made a beeline for Bliss when they touched down and let her hold her son grinning manically at her as she did so. He held Fox over her head on and off going as far as to corner her at the DGI annual party and nearly assault her only for Chauncey to arrive and put a stop to it. He warned her if she didn’t return to him he would destroy her and the rest of the town and he did so filing full custody papers. He tortured Selina at home and then the abuse came to a head when his brother and Brook interrupted them, instead of lashing out at them he proceeded to assault Selina at the opera informing her he knew all about her talking to Chauncey and Braden again. When Selina finally left him he baited Braden into a fight jeopardizing any case against him that she had. Between those two things he hid an even darker secret that he had begun to stalk Tamara Wright going as far to make an advance on her at MontCorp. She said no and he pretended to respect her wishes, while on a trip to New York for the reveal of Isla Del Cruces and the solar panels he brutally raped Tamara in her hotel room and left her for dead. He was able to escape authorities thanks to his attorney and lover Amanda Ward getting involved. Tamara followed him to their hotel and shot him and he was finally arrested later. Escaping the hospital he tracked Amanda down blaming her for all his problems and then drowned her inside the bathtub. He proceeded to Jackson and Dani’s wedding where he kidnapped Bliss, Tamara and Selina from the party holding them hostage in the tunnels. He let his guard down and the women overcame him, Bliss picked up the gun and shot him to death.
