Devonshire Mansion and Ranch

Lowell and Jackie bought the nearly 40 acre property back in the late seventies after their first son Chauncey was born. They built a massive mansion on the property that houses over eighteen bedrooms and twenty baths. Due to their mutual love for horses as well they began their own equestrian ranch. The estate includes a massive swimming pool, a shooting range, a large and luxurious guesthouse and a fully operational stable.

Delacroix Estate

Home of Tony Delacroix and his late wife Gloria Delacroix along with his second wife Ophelia Cameron. Tony took residence here as Lowell’s right hand and hasn’t left. The property has 8 bedrooms and bathrooms located on 4 acres including two guest houses with their own accommodations, carriage house and a swimming pool. Christmas and other events are often held here for his children.

The Kincaid Estate

The Kincaid estate was built in the late 1800’s and has had many remodeling projects over the years. It is also known as the mayor mansion due to the Kincaid family always having a seat of power in the community. Many early lavish events were held here and still are. The property is a 14 bedroom and 12 bath home located on about twenty acres that includes a guest house, carriage house, swimming pool as well as a spring house.

The Madden Estate

Michael Madden bought the secluded property in the mid 1980’s when he, his wife and their son moved into the area from New Jersey. The home went under massive renovations to get it to Olivia’s style as she and her husband tried to fit into the uppercrest of Atlas Falls society despite her husband’s mafia connections. The home consists of 8 bedrooms, 8 baths, a full tennis court in back along with a pool. After Michael and his wife were murdered in one of the most horrifying shootouts in the city their son Ronan took over the family business and home.

Fraiser Home

Walter Fraiser bought the home in the early 1970’s after saving enough after the birth of their son. The home has five bedroom and 3 baths with a massive back yard in the Brookside neighborhood. Since then the house has gone over a few remodels and upgrades over the years. They throw family barbecues and parties.

 Braden and Tamara’s home

Braden and Tamara moved out of his old home in the Crestridge neighborhood after Dimitri’s reign of terror. The house sold under market and they instead moved into the Brookeside neighborhood a few blocks away from his father.

Hunter and Bliss’s home

Hunter and Bliss looked for a few months for a home together after he sold his former home with his ex wife Max Devonshire. Eventually they decided on this lovely colonial with horses and a barn in the back close to both the Devonshire mansion and the Kincaid estate. To escape the chaos that Fox grew up in they felt it best to have a modest yet big estate to raise their growing family which hopefully includes more children in their future.

Jackson and Dani’s Home

Jackson was eyeing the property when he and Dani were getting serious before they discovered she was pregnant. Before he went to rehab he bought the property and hired and architect to design the house. Construction began that summer with Brock’s company and the house was barely finished by the time the twins were born. Complete with stables and massive living space and lakeside views.

Lauren’s Home

Lauren and Walter’s divorce was amicable with her receiving spousal support and a sum of money she was able to move out on her own. Eventually deciding on a cottage near the lake for herself. She took in Braden, Tamara and Dylan for a time when Dimitri was on the loose and after he had broken into their home. They eventually got a new home and then she invited Dru Price to the guest rooms when she told her that she needed somewhere to stay.

Mapleton Hill Brownstones

Mapleton Hill is on the east side of Atlas Falls close to Fairmont Square and other historical sites in the city. Lowell invested in the property in the late 1990’s and with VanPelt construction completely gutted the complex and remodeled the Brownstones to a luxury high end complex. The homes here are a bit larger in size ranging from 2,200-4,000 sq ft Many young families have settled into this neighborhood and young professionals. The finishes are brilliant inside and the lots in the back are enough for young families to enjoy without feeling too cramped on city life.

Sterling Condominiums

The Fairmont hotel was built in 1929 by local architect Alexander Fairmont, who was fond of many high rises in New York City at the time along with others in Paris. Designed after a luxury hotel on Paris from its period the hotel was operational until 1984 when Lowell Devonshire bought it and then had the unit converted into luxury condominiums to house his CEO’s and traveling guests. The building went public in 1999 and now holds 80 units on 22 floors with four penthouses included at the top two floors. A full swimming pool, gym, concierge service, doorman and many more amenities.

Plaza City Center Condos

The Plaza at City Center offers a wide range of condos ranging from lofts, up to four bedroom units in the heart of Atlas Falls. DGI took on the project in 1988 and construction was completed in 1991 the condos offer a full gym, swimming pool, restaurants and shopping on the lower level. DGI also struck up a deal with Atlas Falls University in order to sell out some units students are offered a discounted rate for the year if they do in fact stay here during their time.

Crogan Apartments

Crogan Apartments is owned under Madden Enterprises and located in the Scottswood projects. Michael Madden purchased the property on the west side of his territory. Known as under the Madden crime family rule it is home to many of the less fortunate residents of the city, known for it’s high crime and drug rate. You will rarely see someone from the upper or middle class of the city hanging around it or it’s twenty block radius.

Atlas Falls Country Club

Atlas Falls Country Club is located on the upper east bench of the city and home to a massive hotel that consists of over two hundred rooms, a private and public golf course. Ten tennis courts, five swimming pools it is a members only club. The Davis family bought the land in the early 1900’s and since then it has been run by them ever since. With gorgeous green golf courses, a breathtaking view of the mountains, gazebos throughout it is an ideal club. Not only is membership private many fundraisers, dinners and weddings are thrown here due to it’s beauty.

Club XES

Club XES was opened four years ago by Philip and Cassie Montgomery and is known for it’s strippers, dancing and nightlife. It has an exquisite dance floor for clubbing and then various rooms for the girls and acts. Known as an all access membership club Philip nor Cassie care very much what you want to do in a private room at the club or in an executive suite they only have one rule no cops and don’t advertise your exploits.

Club Vertigo

Vertigo was opened about six years ago downtown and is close to the college campus, known for its great DJ’s and dance nights. It is a great place to have come cocktails after work and wind down or if you want to take a date for night out. Unlike Club XES there is a strict no stripper rule in effect and it also doesn’t have the drugs associated with it.

DGI

Devonshire Global Industries was officially founded after Lowell graduated business school and when he and Walter Fraiser were in college. Lowell convinced Walter to give him rights to his computer software Andromeda, promising to make them both millions. Instead Lowell tricked Walter having his friend Tony Delacroix named as a partner instead. The software would go on to make the Devonshire’s rich through government contracts and they accumulated their wealth. Now a Fortune 500 company and the Devonshires known on the top fifty list of the richest families in America. From there Lowell has had his hands in a little bit of everything from tech software, weapons development all the way too real estate investments. They also own the local baseball team the Riverhawks and the basketball team the Ravens.

Fraiser’s Pub and Distillery

Fraiser’s Pub and Distillery has been a town staple since the mid 1800’s and has been in the family just as long. Passed down through the generations it has taken on many owners when Walter was tricked out of DGI and Lowell blocked him working anywhere else he took over the Pub from his father when he retired. Known for it’s semi rustic food, in house brewed beer, bourbons and whiskey’s it is a city staple with an active lunch and nightlife crowd.

La Callie

Tony Delacroix opened LaCaille after he graduated college and with help from Lowell and DGI. It is a well know French themed restaurant located in the heart of downtown Atlas Falls. Tables are often booked months in advance with many of those going to DGI meetings if needed for clients. It’s relaxing and upscale atmosphere is known for it’s romance and fine cuisine, Tony is still active and takes an active role at the restaurant. After it’s success Tony opened a chain with locations in Pittsburgh, Seattle, Washington, New Orleans, Houston and recently New York. There are two more planned openings in San Francisco and Paris scheduled.

Madden Enterprises

Madden Enterprises is a start up company that was funded by Michael Madden when he and his wife moved to town from New Jersey. Mainly involved in investment property it is more widely known as the key to the Madden crime family. Money laundering, drug trafficking are just a few of the things that the company is “known” to have associated with it but the feds and local law enforcement have yet to be able to prove it. Ronan like his father before him runs a tight ship with keeping his associates close to him in order to make sure no one rats or speaks.

The Rawlings

The Rawlings is an upscale hotel located in the heart of the city that was built in the late 1900’s Damon Rawlings and his wife Teresa became the owners in the late 50’s. During the sixties it became a prime location for tourists and has remained in the family since. Home to over two hundred and fifty rooms, many restaurants and shops located on the main floor at least four ballrooms it is a prime location for social functions. Every year they throw the hospital charity function, weddings and other venues to accommodate their guests and the residents of Atlas Falls.

The Pointe Bar and Restaurant

The Pointe Bar and Restaurant is housed downtown in the historical Rawlings hotel on the bottom floor, it is not as fancy as La Callie but it’s ambience is just as good. Serving a wide range of American cuisine with an international twist. The views outside to the courthouse and downtown are quite stunning and it is an ideal spot for travelers as well as weddings. Owned and operated inside the Rawlings Hotel it strives to make their clients or dinner guests feel welcome at the hotel at anytime and make them live the full city life experience.

 Crestwood Hotel

The Crestwood hotel was formerly known as Hotel La Gordia and due to competition in the lower part of town with the Rawlings, the Crestswood family sold the hotel to the Hessington conglomerate. Located close to the Ski Resort it is an ideal spot for a home away from home vacation without the hassle of the ski resort. Eventually Charles and his family have big plans for the hotel including an expansion but for now they are just happy to join the town.

 TJ’S Bakery

TJ’s is owned and operated by June Harrison and her daughter in law Tegan it has been in existence since 1999 when Tegan and her husband Robbie moved back to Atlas Falls. Serving up the best town cakes, pies, desserts, light lunch array of food and  a fully functioning coffee and tea bakery. It is busy during the work week for may of the downtown residents. On weekends they are kept busy catering small events and often larger ones, known for it’s massive and exceptional wedding cakes.

Everest Ski Resort and Lodge

Everest Ski Resort was bought in the early 1900’s by the Thorpe family. Since then it holds eleven lifts over thirty various trails and two world class hotel lodges on the property. The resort is open year round in order to accommodate the activities at Lake Everest and the nature of Atlas Falls. With restaurants, dining, shopping and other activities it makes a great tourist destination as well as local hang out spot.

 Renard’s

The last store of Eleanor Renard a French business women who brought beauty and couture to America. Unlike Macy’s or an other department store in the world they import exclusive clothes from new designers. Also they have boutiques stores from everyone from Versace to Levi. Many of the elite of Atlas Falls shop here the men get their suits tailored and women their couture custom for them. Fine jewels are always on display in the five level building. If you want exclusivity and the best Renards is the only place to shop in Atlas Falls. Just look at the list of celebrities who come from all around the world to shop here.

Atlas Falls Courthouse

The courthouse began construction in 1893 and was finished in 1901 making it one of the oldest buildings in the city. Still standing and city maintained this is where justice and other legal tasks are performed for the city and the county.

Atlas Falls City Hall

City Hall began construction in 1915 and was completed in 1917 it houses the city’s planning departments, economical departments and the mayor’s office. With ten floors and over three hundred city employees is is a town staple not to mention a historical building that tourists visit. Know for it’s unique design stunning walls and architecture.

Atlas Falls Police Department

Final construction on the police department was completed in 1996 it is home to the cities various police units, sections and officers. The building has also served as a liaison office when the FBI, DEA, US Marshals and ATF agencies have needed to collaborate on cases. The current police commissioner is Gideon Morris.

Atlas Falls University

Founded and built in 1875 the university has been a huge impact on the county and the city since it was founded. With top of the like medical, legal and business programs as well as other known programs people in the state come for the college life experience. It is a state university, many scholarships are offered here from known businesses like DGI and other corporations. Staff is about 1,436. Graduate and undergraduate numbers are about 6,000-8,000 each depending on funding and the year.

St. Christopher’s

St. Christopher’s was founded in 1870 when the town needed a hospital a fire in 1960 destroyed much of the building and town funds went into rebuilding it. They were still in the middle of the rebuilding phase when the local University finally added it’s prestigious medical school and then the Devonshire’s in the late 1980’s donated the rest of the funds in order to finish out the building with a brand new architect and modern design. The final phase was complete in 1990 and now the hospital is prestigious and stands as a center for medical studies and funding.

 St. Paul’s Catholic Church

St. Paul’s Catholic Church was built in 1843 and is the oldest building still standing in Atlas Falls known as a historical landmark and the parish for the entire county. Mass is still held on Sundays with a heavy and steady congregation. It is also a prime location for catholic weddings, baptisms and other events for the church. Known for it’s gorgeous stained glass windows and stunning architecture.

Parks and Recreation

Fairmont Park

Fairmont Park is located five blocks from the courthouse and in the heart of downtown Atlas Falls. It is a parkway that travels the length of the city for a biking trail the heart of the park has lush green spaces, soccer fields, gazebos, mini ponds and water features. Known in the summer as a prime picnic and summer hangout. In the winter it is home to gorgeous white and stunning city views.

Lake Everest

Lake Everest is a man made lake covering over eight square miles and maintained by the forest department of the state. The lake project began in 1934 and was completed in 1937 opening up the the public. The area covers roughly over 1,000 acres and has about 38 trails and destinations for hikers and tourists. Multi use trails are open for hiking, biking, running and horseback riding. Lake activities include swimming, boating, fishing, jet skiing and scuba diving in the summer months. Fall activities include ice skating, ice fishing along with ice boating.

 Scottswood Projects

Across the tracks of Atlas Falls North side lays the Scottswood Housing Projects. This is a stark contrast to the stunning agricultural beauty that is downtown and the elite neighborhoods such as Oquirrh Hills. With condemned houses, on every other block and a high crime rate this begins the society difference. Scottswood has a high school for kids in their district and for some who qualify get to go to Atlas Falls Academy. Known for it’s gang activity, drug usage, and crime Scottswood is the neighborhood you don’t want to get lost in. Atlas Falls is working very hard to rid Scottswood from the town and renovate everything in the community.
